[He smirked, reluctantly letting her go since he actually did have work he was doing.]

[This look? This Alex's 'seriously' look when he goes to get back to work, because seriously?!]

[Hey, the work isn't going to do itself.

He looks up at her.]

[But fine, Alex is going to make use of your stupid couch, and one of your stupid books, and the stupid trench coat is coming off, and she's just going to put those fancy heels on the arm of the couch.]

[Would Alex expect anything less from him? When the coat comes off he glances up and smirks. That is a highly alluring sight. Instead of returning back to work, he rests his head on his hand, watching her.]

Are you trying to distract me?

If I was making an effort to distract you, you'd be distracted.

[That's not a no, Alex, and she's going to study him over the top of one of his books, her brow raised. And then she's going to stretch a little.]

[He's not not distracted. He'll just watch her as he works on his papers.]

I can ignore your distractions you know.

[Alex just studies him for a second before she goes back to reading in his book, her fingers brushing along the edge of her mouth as she does it.]

[He presses his lips together tightly before he goes back to grading a few more papers.]

[But she's only like half paying attention to it though, because this is getting a little annoying, and Alex is going to need to break out the bigger guns sooner rather than later.

In the mean time: yoga stretches and a sigh.]

[He squints at her a moment, then back to more grading.]

Getting comfortable. Obviously. The couch at home is better than this one. So's the one in my office, actually.

[Not that she'd be wearing this in her office, actually.]

That wasn't what I got out of your complaining the other night.

Well, Dr. Strand, lingerie isn't actually known for its comfort lounging around.

[And she's going to wiggle a bit more, one hand on her stomach.]

[There's a small smirk.]

Something tells me I'd be very distracting then, and you're trying to do work.

[But Alex is going to flip over onto her stomach on the couch, putting the book in front of her, with her legs crossed in the air behind her. Her underwear is really quite small. And lacy. And largely see-through. You're welcome.]

[Richard is surprisingly getting through the papers without incident. Then again, Richard was good at suppressing his desires.]

If you're cold, there's a blanket in the closet.

[This is taking much longer than Alex expected, and it's not as if she's pouting, but she is sort of sulking a bit. Honestly, this was not at all what she'd had in mind when she'd put this outfit on.

Moving to the closet, Alex threw the door open with a careless nonchalant until she spotted his suit coat. The height difference between them was such that it was loose on her, but barely covered the tops of her stockings. Of course, the opening did nothing but showcase the corset-like top of the lingerie but it was enough when Alex dropped back onto the couch and put her legs on the top of it.]

[Looking up from his last paper, he smirked. If she really wanted to play this game, he could play it like a master.]

I have an open door policy with my students.

Well, I just happened to be a grown ass adult who locked the door so...

[Alex is just going to shift a bit, with her legs against the back of the couch.]

[The smirk only grows.]

Well, don't think I haven't noticed how much you like to look Dr. I am definitely not focusing my attention on my Alex sitting there while I'm grading my papers, save for I definitely am.

I assure you it has little to do with what you're wearing and more to do with your inappropriate use of my books. Nietzsche would not approve.
