[Alex just snorts and she takes his hand, letting him tug her off the top of his desk. Pausing for a moment, Alex puts her trench coat, the one that he gave her back on, and she gathered her hair from inside of it and dropped it against her back before starting to button it up.]
[Closing his laptop he moves for the door, taking her hand as he does so. Just because he doesn't want to have sex with her in his office doesn't mean he has no desire to show his affection. Besides, it would be awkward if his colleagues heard them. It's better at home.]
[She takes his hand but stops for a second with a little laugh.]
As good as these shoes are for making my butt look good... [The original reason she'd told Rey that they were worn.] And as convenient they are for the height difference between us, they're actually several inches higher than the heels I'd ever wear, and the last thing I need is a broken ankle when we're moving tomorrow.
