Fairly certain is not entirely certain, love. And they are almost as persistent as me.

[Alex is just going to look at him in a completely amused fashion because well, there's no one as persistent as Alex.]

Nope. But I've heard stories. You forget, Richard, I've got like five days worth of news to do here, and puff pieces like stuff on them take me like five minutes.

[Alex just asks in an entirely bemused tone.]

We both cheat, remember? On things like this?

[Arguments, etc. Pulling out voices and the like.]

[To show an example of this, he drops his voice, just low enough to cause her issue.]

[God, he's an asshole sometimes. But Alex loves him anyway, and she just plays with his tie, dropping her voice in response.]

You know, my Richard, it's too bad you're so against sex in your office. Make up sex is some of the best kind, don't you think?

[He raises his brows. Voice still low.]

[Oh look, a brow raise in response:]

You don't think so?

Maybe I've never had it before.

[That's right Alex, he's totally making the claim he's never had make-up sex.]

[Annnnnd she's just going to laugh.]

[He'll try not to smirk, and never tell her how much he adores it when she laughs.]

That's a horrible insinuation.

[And she doesn't bother to smirk. She's just going to full on grin at him.]

I can't recall a single argument between us which ended in sex.

Well, to be fair 99.8% of our arguments happened either when we weren't having sex or when we weren't having sex because of my stupid ribs. So that's probably why.

[Alex just smirks at him.]

Or because you don't want to have sex in your office.

[She had a point, one that he'd already thought of, and while he had no issues mentioning his past to her, she seemed to become unnecessarily aggravated when thinking about Coralee and his past with her.]

I'd thought you'd want to inform Jeff that I don't 'hate you'.

[11calls]

[Alex had assumed that he'd definitely had make up sex with Coralee. After all, the two of them were married for thirteen years, and had been seeing one another before that so of course there were make up sex and grief sex and every other kind of sex you can imagine. Alex doesn't mind that, because it's the past. Hell, she definitely has. Which was the reason why she called him a liar.

But then Alex's cheeks just go scarlet, then her ears, then her chest before she just buries her face into his chest. Because well... one doesn't expect your significant other to actually read conversations like the one she'd had with Jeff. And because sometimes Alex can be a girl worried about the boy she loves hating her.

So what comes out is a muffled:]

Oh my gawd.

[Well that was a satisfying reaction. One he expected since it was often her reaction to his knowing things she didn't want him to see. It didn't make it any less enjoyable. In fact, he very readily laughs at her embarrassment.]

[There's no heat in the words, even if they do come from against his shirt still, and the color isn't showing any signs of fading.]

[He'd wrap his arms around her, but they're currently pinned to his chest by her face.]
