[Well that was a satisfying reaction. One he expected since it was often her reaction to his knowing things she didn't want him to see. It didn't make it any less enjoyable. In fact, he very readily laughs at her embarrassment.]

[She's just going to smile at him again, and then trace his cheek with her thumb.]

[There was a lot that she could have if he wasn't in her life. Not the least of which was a normal life without demonology and cults and disappearing wives. She could be fake ghost hunting and be thinking it was real instead of dealing with things like Simon Reese.]

[He leans down to kiss her lightly.]

So she just laughs as she kisses him back.]

[That would be a low blow if there wasn't quantifiable proof that he'd tried to get rid of her or ignore her on multiple occasions.]

Oh yeah, definitely. She's entirely too annoyingly persistent for her own good. And yours too, I suppose.

[She knows that she went to Chicago and dragged him back, and reached out with the case with Simon, but he's also come back too. In some ways, the two of them are just on a rubber band that they keep stretching out onto to be drawn back together.]

[He curls his fingers around hers, pushing off from the desk.]

Hey, I would say I can be pretty accommodating in some things, Richard. Just not in the ones you'd prefer me to be in.

[Like that whole not telling anyone about stuff thing. And that not believing in demons thing. And the not being annoying thing. But those are all things that make Alex Alex so there's that.

And she nods before she counters:]

Or there's pizza. Pizza never hurt anyone, and we can get it cheese for Stan.

I've yet to find a way. And cheese pizza isn't kosher.

[Alex looked amused because well, he wasn't going to find a way.]

[He didn't recall her saying anything specific about before or after dinner, so he offers her a confused loom.]

[Alex is just going to wait for his lovely big brain to catch up to the makeup sex part of this whole thing with a smirk.]

[He's going to raise a brow. Stan and Simon might wonder about them disappearing after dinner, besides, the window for make-up sex has passed.]
