Think thats up to the person you're telling to decide, Mr. Strand, esp if you're the one wanting them to reach out to someone with a crazy dark history. all relationships are based on comfort zones, and people deserve to draw lines in the sand.

[He almost mentions that some histories are too personal for others to be told about simply because they happen to talk to someone else, but he doesn't. That's a bit too personal and close to home for him. Technically he, and now Alex can be put into that group as well. And Richard isn't planning to go announcing and explaining his personal history to anyone. No matter how close they might become. That is, unless he has to, like now with Simon.]

I don't believe Simon is, stabby, and I wouldn't have asked you to talk to him if I thought you would be in any danger from him.

His reasons for anything he's claimed to have done is completely to protect innocent people.
